MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- Law enforcement is looking for the suspect who shot a man on a Milwaukee County freeway Sunday night.
It happened just after 10 p.m. on southbound US 41/45 at Hampton Avenue.
After arriving on the scene, deputies found the victim seated in his car. He was transported to the hospital. Right now, there's no word on the severity of his injuries.
Milwaukee County Sheriff Richard Schmidt says his deputies are actively searching for the suspect or suspects involved.
The freeway was closed for several hours because of the incident.
