The National Weather Service in La Crosse said the funnel clouds being observed Tuesday last only a few minutes, normally don’t touch the ground and rarely do any damage. Braun said there haven't been any reports of funnels in Grant County as of about noon, but another possible funnel is being monitored in the Cuba City area. NWS advised people in northeast Iowa and far southwest Wisconsin remain on the alert and be prepared to move to a place of safety if a funnel should approach the ground.
