The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is responding to multiple overturned semis throughout the freeway system in Milwaukee County since early Saturday.
Our first report of a weather related crash occurred about 6:15 a.m. when a semi-tailor overturned in the Zoo interchange causing a major backup. Authorities reported another semi-truck crash shortly after, causing a full freeway closure of I-41/US 45 North at Mayfair Road about 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
We’re asking the public to stay off the roads and the highway. Driving conditions are extremely hazardous.

Authorities have requested that motorists stay off of the roadway until the road conditions improve.
