MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Police are investigating an altercation that left a woman with a serious gunshot wound from her boyfriend Thursday night.
The incident occurred in the 1500 block of North 34th Street. The 29-year-old woman was found with a gunshot wound and was taken to a nearby hospital.
The woman also claims her boyfriend carjacked someone else after the shooting and fled the scene.
Police still are looking for the suspect.
