MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee's iconic Mitchell Park Domes are set to reopen to the public on Sept. 26.

The Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory will be open with reduced hours, plus a new registration system, to stay on the safe side amid the pandemic.

All three domes will open Wednesdays-Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday-Sundays from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Visitors will need to reserve a time slot at www.mitchellparkdomes.com before arriving.

A total of 45 people will be allowed inside during each 20-minute window, although there is no time limit on how long visitors can spend at the domes.

The reservation system will begin taking advance reservations starting Sept. 16. No walk up admissions will be allowed.

The conservatory says set-up for the fall show will begin next week.

The Domes Gift Shop, managed by the non-profit Friends of The Domes, will reopen with expanded space in the lobby area.

Visit www.mitchellparkdomes.com to reserve a time slot or call the visitor center at 414-257-5600.
