MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee County Zoo is offering free admission during Frosty Free Week, from Dec. 25 to Jan. 1.
During Frosty Free Week, the zoo is open on weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and weekends from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The zoo's cold-weather animals are more active during colder temperatures, so that week gives visitors a chance to enjoy polar bears, caribou and more.
Visitors will also get a chance to see the zoo's newest members: Kiki the red panda cub and Desmond the giraffe calf.
