The first ever Milwaukee Women's Film Festival begins Friday night.
The festival will showcase shorts and films that are either directed by women or feature at least one woman as the central protagonist.
Films will begin at 7 p.m. at Underground Collaborative, 161 W. Wisconsin Ave.
Tickets for Friday's opening are $15.
It runs through Sunday.
