It's time to 'step up to the challenge' and help fight for those who are actually fighting for air.

Every year, TODAY'S TMJ4 helps sponsor the American Lung Association's Fight For Air Climb.

On Saturday, March 10th, people can come together and step up to the challenge and climb the stairs at the U.S. Bank Center, located at 777 East Wisconsin Ave. This building is the tallest in the state, with 47 floors totaling 1,034 steps.

Throughout the last several years the American Lung Association has raised over $45 million with Fight For Air Climb. The event is one of the association's most successful fundraisers in their fight to benefit those suffering from lung cancer and lung disease.

Whether climbing for personal fitness goals or to honor someone battling lung disease, participants will be helping raise money for research, patient education, and more advocacy efforts.

You can help the American Lung Association reach their goal of $700,000 by donating to a participating team or individual. There is still time to register for the climb.

Head to the U.S. Bank Center on March 10th to take on the challenge of the "vertical road race."
