Milwaukee Police seek public's assistance in finding shooting suspect

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating a shooting suspect.

Police say the shooting happened on Monday around 9:56 p.m. in the 1200 block of N. 35th Street.

One victim and a witness were walking in the area when, police say, the suspect fired several shots and struck the victim.

The suspect is described as a Black male between 25 and 30-years-old. He is around 5'7", has a slim build and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a dark-colored baseball hat, a black jacket, black pants with a yellow stripe on the side, and black Nike shoes with yellow on them. He was also armed with a handgun.
