MILWAUKEE — An 28-year-old officer with the Milwaukee Police Department has been arrested.
Police say the officer was arrested Sunday for operating while intoxicated and "endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon."
The officer's name has not been released, but police say the officer did have one year with the Milwaukee Police Department. The officer has now resigned.
On Tuesday, a 37-year-old officer with the department was also arrested for "endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon." That officer had four years with the department.
