MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Police say 10-year-old Lenae J. Bryant and 9-year-old Azarayah Reynolds -- who were reported missing Saturday -- have been located and are being reunited with their families.
10-year-old Lenae J. Bryant and 9-year-old Azarayah Reynolds were reported missing by police late Saturday night. They were last seen in the 2400 block of S.18th Street, on Saturday around 6 p.m.
They were located around 12:30 p.m. Sunday and have been reunited with their families.
Dominique Reynolds, the mother of Azarayah tells TODAY’S TMJ4 the girls were located at a friend's house on 19th and Grant.
She adds the incident was a result of miscommunication as the girls were given permission from another adult family member to go to a sleepover. However, that information wasn't shared with either girls’ family.
"I'm overwhelmed, I'm happy, I'm sad, I'm everything all wrapped in one," Reynolds said. "I can't even describe it, I'm numb right now, and my knees are buckling."
