Milwaukee Police investigate two overnight shootings

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating two shootings that left the victims seriously injured overnight.

Police were flagged down in the 5600 block of North 64th Street about 9 p.m. Thursday after a 38-year-old man was shot by an unknown suspect, investigators said.

The male suspect left the scene in a vehicle with another man, according to police. The victim was taken to a local hospital.

In a separate incident, a 30-year-old man was shot in the 1300 block of West Atkinson. The victim drove himself to a local hospital.
