Milwaukee police arrest south side armed robbery suspect

The man accused of robbing five businesses on the city’s south side has been arrested, according to Milwaukee Police.

He is accused of robbing businesses Tuesday located at 3800 block of South Howell Ave., 3700 block of South Howell Ave., 200 block of West Holt Ave., 100 block of West Oklahoma Ave. and the 6300 block of South 13th St.

He allegedly implied he had a weapon underneath his sweatshirt when he robbed the businesses, police say. 

He also allegedly walking into a Wingstop in St. Francis, pointed at the cash register and asked the clerk if he had seen him on the news.
