MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee continues to be recognized as an up-and-coming place to live, but it might not be the best for your furry friends.
A new study is throwing some shade on the pet parents of Greater Milwaukee.
To recognize National Homeless Animals Day, a study was conducted naming the best and worst cities for pets around the U.S. by Wallet Hub.
The company compared the creature-friendliness of the 100 largest cities across 24 key metrics. The data ranges from minimum pet-care provider rate per visit to pet businesses, even walkability.
Milwaukee ranked as No. 97, one of the least-friendly pet cities in the U.S.
Some of the best places included warmer climates including Scottsdale, Arizona; Orlando, Florida; Tampa, Florida; and Austin, Texas.
