MILWAUKEE, Wis. — A woman has died following a shooting near 19th and Wright, the Milwaukee Police Department confirmed.
The shooting happened around 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police say a 34-year-old woman was shot and pronounced dead on the scene.
An investigation into her death is ongoing and police say a 41-year-old man is in custody. Charges are now pending review at the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
