MILWAUKEE -- A Milwaukee man is in serious condition after he was shot when two suspects broke into his home, police say.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Friday in the 3900 block of N. 10th St. According to police, the 29-year-old man confronted the two suspects who broke into his home and was shot 'several times.'
One suspect is in custody and two others are at large, according to police. It's not clear at this time the role the third suspect may have played in the crime.
The victim was taken to a local hospital.
