MILWAUKEE -- A Milwaukee man and his girlfriend just bought their first home together in Riverwest --  where he pulled off an elaborate proposal, with the help of his real estate agent at Redfin.

Kevin Murray and his real estate agent made sure his soon-to-be fiance, Kimberly Gendron, would not go inside -- while he wrote love notes all over their new home.

These special love notes include a timeline of all the cities they have lived in over the course of five years, the pets they have adopted, and even the song they want to eventually use in their wedding.

All the hard work led to the moment when he got on one knee, and she said "yes" on video.

"My favorite part was he put the cats so when we adopted the cats it kind of was incorporated throughout the course of our life," said Kimberly.

"Just proposing while we were in the house was one thing but writing our stories on the walls knowing that we were going to paint over it that's always going to be part of this house," Kevin said. "And something that sort of added to it and not only is this house part of our story but now were part of its."

The couple had planned to repaint the entire home before Kevin came up with this epic plan.
