MENOMONEE FALLS — A man has been charged with burglarizing an auto body shop and setting it on fire.

Firefighters say 32-year-old Anthony Gilbertson, of Milwaukee, is facing arson and burglary charges by the Waukesha County District Attorney's office.

The Menomonee Falls Fire Department said on Oct. 11, firefighters responded to a call that said smoke was coming from MAACO Collision Repair and Auto Painting. Fire crews also determined the place was burglarized.

Firefighters said the investigation led to Gilbertson's arrest.

Gilbertson is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary trial on Oct. 23. He doesn't have a criminal record, according to court documents.
