MILWAUKEE — On Sunday afternoon, the Milwaukee Fire Department responded to a house fire near 29th and Walnut.
When the fire department arrived, they discovered a fire had started on the first floor of the home.
Two people were rescued from the home's balcony with only minor injuries, as well as a pet cat.
There's no word yet on estimated damages to the home.
