MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says it responded to 36 crashes and 38 disabled vehicles during and following snowstorms that moved through Wisconsin last weekend.
In total, there were 81 calls for service during a 48-hour window starting Friday, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m., through Sunday, Dec. 14 at 6 p.m.
The incidents are broken down as follows:
- Sixty-six (66) total Property Damage Crash Only calls - MCSO responded to 28 (2 calls were duplicates)
- Fourteen (14) total Crashes with Injuries - MCSO responded to 7
- Crash with deputies injured - 1
- Fifty-one (51) Disabled Vehicles calls - MCSO responded to 38
Not all calls received were incidents that occurred in MCSO's jurisdiction, according to the office. Other agencies handled some of the calls.
