MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is preparing for winter storm conditions to affect travel on freeways and roads.

Starting Friday evening through Sunday morning, officers are expecting impaired road conditions and traffic delays are expected. These weather conditions may also impact morning rush hour travel on Monday as well.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says they're willing to help drivers on the freeway and provides the following update:

"MCSO advises the public that the reporting tool, by which certain crashes can be reported online within 24 hours, is not presently available. MCSO advises the public to self-report appropriate crashes (in which your vehicle is movable and you are not injured) within 24 hours of the crash, at one of the listed reporting sites. If the crash in question took place more than 24 hours ago, it can be reported via the State Patrol reporting tool available on the MCSO website."
