Milwaukee County Parks hiring 99 additional lifeguards this summer

Milwaukee County Parks is looking to hire an additional 99 lifeguards for this summer.

There is no need to sign up ahead of time. All you have to do is attend any free training session at Noyes or Pulaski pools.

Upcoming training sessions are as follows:

  • Session 5A: Noyes Pool (8235 W. Good Hope Road), Mondays and Wednesdays at 7-9 p.m. April 8, 10, 15, 17, 22 and 24. Test: Saturday, April 27 at 7 a.m.
  • Session 5B: Pulaski Pool (2701 S. 16th St.), Monday-Thursday at 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. April 15, 16, 17 and 18. Test: Saturday, April 27 at 7 a.m.
  • Session 5C: Pulaski Pool (2701 S. 16th St.), Monday-Thursday at 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. April 22, 23, 24 and 25. Test: Saturday, April 27 at 7 a.m.
  • Session 6: Pulaski Pool (2701 S. 16th St.), Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7-9 p.m. April 30, May 2, 7, 9, 14 and 16. Test: Saturday, May 18 at 7 a.m.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old by July, able to swim 100 meters in less than 1 minute, 45 seconds and be in good physical condition. Lifeguard pay starts at $10.57/hour. For more information, click here.
