The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner has been called to the scene of a homicide near S. Cesar Chavez and Greenfield Avenue.
The medical examiner's office tweeted that the incident happened in the 1400 block of S. Cesar Chavez Drive. A 69-year-old man was the victim.
Milwaukee police said it was investigating a shooting that happened just after 3 a.m. Tuesday. The 69-year-old man died from his injuries. Police are searching for a suspect.
