MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Fire Department says a body has been recovered from the Menomonee River Sunday night.
Crews responded near N. 16th and Canal street shortly after 6:30p.m. for reports of a body in the water.
Milwaukee Police say the body recovered is that of a 56-year-old man.
More information is expected Monday and the investigation is ongoing.
