Metcalfe’s Markets announced Thursday morning that the stores will be closed on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving.
“Our family and our team are excited for the holiday season, but this has been a year unlike any other we have ever experienced, and we know everyone will appreciate a day of rest and time to spend with families and loved ones,” said Tim Metcalfe, owner of Metcalfe’s Markets.
Here’s a list of Metcalfe’s holiday hours and closings for the remainder of the wear:
· Thanksgiving Day (November 26, 2020) – Closed
· Christmas Eve (December 24, 2020) – 6 a.m. – 5 p.m.
· Christmas Day (December 25, 2020) – Closed
· New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2020) - 6 a.m. – 9 p.m.
· New Year’s Day (January 1, 2021) – 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Currently, Metcalfe’s hours of operation are from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m., daily.
The market does host Courtesy Shopping Hours from 6 a.m. – 8 a.m., on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays for community members who are at higher risk from COVID-19.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, those hours are reserved for medical professionals and first responders.
