Meijer adding more than 250 jobs in Waukesha

WAUKESHA -- Meijer is looking for 280 employees for their new store opening in Waukesha later this summer.

Those positions include clerks, cake decorators, customer service, cashiers, receiving, and meat cutters. Starting pay will be based on your experience level and specific skills, the retailer said.

Meijer says applicants will be screened within the next few weeks.

The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based retailer operates 223 grocery stores across the Midwest and Kentucky.

Wisconsin's first Meijer locations opened in Grafton and Kenosha on June 23, 2015. Two other locations were opened in Oak Creek and Wauwatosa on August 4, 2015.
