MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office confirms they were called to a deadly shooting on Milwaukee's north side.
Police say the shooting happened near 27th & Bobolink shortly after 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Police say a 26-year-old Milwaukee man suffered a serious gunshot wound, and despite lifesaving efforts by officers and paramedics, the man died of his injuries.
The suspect surrendered to police and has been taken into custody. The firearm used in this incident has been recovered.
