Milwaukee Police say the man shot and killed near 65th and Congress Tuesday night appeared to have broken into the home and stolen items.
Someone living at the residence returned home while the man was still there and shot the 37-year-old, police say. Despite life-saving efforts he passed away.
Police are continuing to investigate and are searching for a named suspect.
