MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened overnight around 2:20 a.m. on Oct. 3 on the 2900 block of N. 76th St.
A 25-year-old man shot his 24-year-old girlfriend, according to police.
The woman was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Police say there is evidence of alcohol use.
Police do have a suspect in custody and are continuing to investigate.
