MILWAUKEE -- The man who pled guilty to raping an 82-year-old woman in Milwaukee last July will spend the next 20 years in prison.
Stephen Robinson, 29, attacked the woman around 4 p.m. on July 16 near Teutonia Avenue and Green Tree Road after she got off a bus.
Police said the suspect forced her into a courtyard and sexually assaulted her.
The assault raised questions about the police department’s policy after the woman waited more than three hours for officers to respond.
The victim told the judge she wanted to make sure Robinson is punished but also wanted him to get treatment.
Robinson was also given ten years of supervision after he's released.
