A vehicle crash on US 151 Sunday left one man dead.
The crash took place north of Redwood Rd. in the township of Trenton when a driver traveling northbound in the southbound lanes struck a vehicle traveling southbound head on.
The operator who was driving the wrong way was in a 2010 Dodge Caravan. The Dodge County Sheriff says the man was a 39-year-old from Beaver Dam. He was flown from the scene of the accident by Flight for Life to Aurora Hospital with life threatening injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 2016 Nissan Altima, was a 24-year-old man from Sun Prairie. He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner's Office.
The incident remains under investigation, but police do believe alcohol and operating on the wrong side of the highway are contributing factors of the crash.
