Fond du Lac police are investigating a child incitement that happened at Catherine Whittier Park Wednesday.
Police say a man approached a 4-year-old girl in the park and asked her to come to his truck for ice cream. At that point, the child's aunt intervened.
The man then left the park in a newer white Chevy SUV with tinted windows and half of the Chevy logo on the back scratched off.
He is described as a white male in his 40s, medium build, 5 ft. 8 in. tall with shoulder-length gray hair and minimal face scruff. He was wearing black sweatpants with cargo pockets, a white t-shirt, black zip-up hoodie and a dark blue baseball cap.
