Police actively looking for suspect in Waukesha State Bank robbery

BROOKFIELD — Does this man look familiar? Brookfield Police are asking for the public's assistance identifying the suspect of a robbery at Waukesha State Bank late Wednesday morning.

Police say they responded to an alarm shortly after 11:00 a.m. at the bank near Brookfield Road and Capitol Drive. Officers say a man went in and requested money and jumped onto a counter. He did not present a weapon, but did receive an undetermined amount of cash.

Police say the person they are looking for is a white male that's approximately 6' tall and between 30 and 40 years old. He was wearing a white and blue plaid shirt, blue jeans, a light colored baseball cape, a black mask, and dark shoes.

According to witnesses, he fled westbound. Police utilized the K-9 unit but a suspect was not located.

No one was hurt in this incident.
