MADISON — Madison Police are asking for help in finding a missing and endangered man.

Jacob A. Dreger, 39, walked away from a residential care facility on Post Road about 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.

He has significant medical needs, police said.

Dreger is 5 feet, 6 inches and weighs 140 pounds, according to the news release. He has red hair and blue eyes. Dreger was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, dark gray pants and tennis shoes with gold stripes.

He walks with a limp and swings his right arm along his side when he walks, officials said.

There is no indication he is a victim of a crime, but because of his medical needs, there is concern for his welfare.

If you see Dreger, please call 911.
