Local WWII heroes share their stories at UWM

The UWM Military and Veterans Resource Center recognizes that first-hand accounts from veterans of the greatest generation are becoming fewer and fewer, which makes the conversations documented today, extremely important to preserving history.

Known as "The Greatest Generation", World World II war heroes shared their stories Friday, along with our own army veteran, Chief Meteorologist John Malan. 
 
Brian Niznansky tells us why it's important to get these stories on record while we still can.
