Lincoln Park Golf Course will offer tee times from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, as long as the warm February weather continues.
Jon Canavan, Golf and Recreation Turf Manager for Milwaukee County Parks, says the course is ready for the warm stretch despite the recent snow and rain because the soil at Lincoln is mainly sand.
"Sandy soils drain beautifully after heavy rain or snow melt, while other soil types hold water and may even show some ponding," Canavan said.
Golfers can walk the 9-hole course in Glendale for $11 and replay the same day for $6. However, no golf carts will be running.
