Step aside Summer Shandy, there's a new player on Leinenkugel's squad.

Before you accuse the company of following the White Claw craze, the newest beverage is being called a 'Beer with a Splash of Seltzer.' The Leinenkugel's Spritzen features a "beer-forward taste with the clean finish and subtle fruit flavors of a seltzer."

The Spritzen will come in three fruity flavors: grapefruit, raspberry lemon and pineapple strawberry. And fear not, although this seltzer may be more beer-oriented than the others on the market, the low-carb, low-sugar trend continues. It clocks in at a total of 93 calories with no sugar or artificial ingredients involved.

"There are plenty of beers on the market and a variety of seltzers entering the category, but nobody is offering the best of both worlds except us," said Katie Leinenkugel , Leinenkugel's Brand Strategy and Engagement Lead, and sixth family member. "Spritzen is the refreshing intersection between beer's timeless taste and the modern rise of seltzers."

You can pick up a 12-pack of all three Spritzen flavors, or a 6-pack of of each individual flavor nationwide. And fun fact, 'spritzen' is the German word for splash.
