Lakefront Brewery announced the release of its new brew “88Nine Amplified Ale” to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Radio Milwaukee.
The limited release crisp session ale is now available at local bars, restaurants and stores, the brewery and the radio station announced in a joint news release Monday.
“We talked about what we wanted out of the beer and what we thought our listeners might enjoy, and Lakefront was able to guide us based on what they've seen success with and what's popular among drinkers today,” said 88Nine Marketing Director Alyssa Feuerer. “We knew we wanted a very drinkable beer that would be good for the summer. And we landed on this session pale ale.”
The beer is described to have citrus flavors with a hint of caramel malt and a mild, hoppy finish.
The beer is to celebrate the landmark milestone for the non-profit Radio Milwaukee, which launched in February of 2007.
The beer will be available on draft where supplies last. Locations are posted on the radio’s website.
