Lake Mills Police Department helps injured hawk heal

LAKE MILLS — The Lake Mills Police Department is lending a helping hand to an injured hawk.

The department posted a photo of the beautiful bird on Facebook saying that it flew into a window on Wednesday, injuring it's wing.

Officers transported the hawk to receive medical attention.

"We got him the help he needed and hopefully he will have a quick rehab," the post said. "You never know what you will do on any given day in this career field!"
