The Lake Express high-speed ferry is preparing for summer as it begins its voyage to its summer home on the shores of Lake Michigan.
On Thursday the ferry began the journey from Milwaukee's Menomonee River Valley to the Port of Milwaukee.
Along the way, it passed the Milwaukee high rise/ Marquette Interchange, Santiago Calatrava 6th Street viaduct, Harley Davidson Motorcycle Museum, Milwaukee's Third Ward, Henry Maier Festival Park and The Daniel Hoan Memorial Bridge.
The Lake Express' 15th consecutive season of service begins on April 27. Reservations can be made online, in person at the Milwaukee or Muskegon terminals or by phone at 866-914-1010.
