A Milwaukee woman named Esther is celebrating her 100th birthday.
On April 5, Esther spent the day celebrating with friends and family at Wilson Commons.
"I think I'm going to have a happy death, let's put it that way," said Esther.
She says she doesn't intend to live much longer; but during her 100 years of life, she's enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing.
In fact, she says of all the inventions to occur during her lifespan, the fryer is the best.
"Now when I look there's lots of new stuff," says Esther. "If I was home I think I'd be aching for it."
Esther says she lives a normal, simple life.
