A construction project in Whitefish Bay is closing down sections of Lake Drive Tuesday.
The following intersections will be closed (weather permitting):
- Lake Drive / Marlborough Drive / Silver Spring Drive
- Lake Drive / Henry Clay Street / Ardmore Avenue
School Road, Santa Monica Boulevard and Hampton Road will all be marked as detour routes during the closures.
The closures are due to a construction project to resurface the entire Village of Whitefish Bay limits of Lake Drive. This entails pavement milling and removal, utility structure adjustment, asphalt repaving and pavement striping.
Local traffic will still be allowed on the remainder of Lake Drive during the closures.
