KENOSHA -- The Kenosha Police Department is alerting residents that John Stary III, a registered sex offender, will be released from prison on July 25.

Police say the 55-year-old was convicted of 1st-degree sexual assault of a child in 1999 -- and targeted minor females.

He is 5'8", 153 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He also goes by the name "Jack Stary."

Stary III will be homeless after his release -- but will be monitored by the Department of Corrections via GPS. He will have to check in daily with his DOC agent.

Stary III is a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry.
