KENOSHA — The Kenosha Mayor, John Antaramian, has been granted added authority by the Common Council on Tuesday, according to the Kenosha News.

The Mayor was given this additional authority to respond to protests and unrest relating to the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

It is unclear exactly what those additional powers are.

Two nights in a row trucks and businesses have been set on fire after peaceful demonstrations during the day.
