K-9 Justice, who was stabbed during Waukesha County standoff, to make appearance

OCONOMOWOC — K-9 Justice, who was stabbed during the June 4 standoff on Interstate 94 and Highway 67, is scheduled to make an appearance from 5 to 8 p.m. June 21 at Buddy’s Beach Bungalow.

The Waukesha County sheriff said a woman, later identified as Kalin Sunde, stabbed K-9 Justice while in a struggle with deputies.

Justice was treated and released from an emergency veterinary clinic.

The incident began about 4:20 p.m. June 4 when Waukesha County Sheriff's deputies were pursuing a vehicle from the Town of Eagle.

The pursuit started in Kettle Moraine State Forest, according to a DNR warden.
