BROOKFIELD — The popular Jose’s Blue Sombrero restaurant in Brookfield has closed for good, its parent company DeRosa tells the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The restaurant shut down temporarily after a fire erupted at the building at 20371 W. Bluemound Rd. earlier this month.
Jose's Blue Sombrero will continue to serve its Mexican-inspired dishes at its locations in Wauwatosa, Fox Point and Racine.
DeRosa tells the MJS that the expense to repair the burnt building would have been too great, and that the property is now under contract to be sold this year.
