Johnsonville recalled frozen and boxed Cheddar Cheese & Bacon Grillers Friday due to the possibility of small pieces of black rubber in the meat.
Three incidents of rubber in the pork patties have been reported according to Johnsonville. There has not been injury or illness associated with the consumption of the Grillers.
The recall pertains to the 24 oz. boxed packages of Grillers with the "Best Flavor By" dates and EST number:
- 07/24/2019, EST 34225
- 08/13/2019, EST 34225
- 08/14/2019, EST 34225
The potentially contaminated product was distributed to 31 states across the U.S.
Customers who purchased the product should not consume the meat and should contact the Johnsonville Customer Relations team at 1-800-556-2728, or fill out a form online.
No other Johnsonville products are affected by this recall.
