Two Milwaukee Police officers who were killed in the line of duty were honored Thursday.
Powers Jewelry presented families of officers Charles Irvine and Michael Michalski with "Thin Blue Line" watches and other gifts.
MPD Chief Alfosno Morales says it’s especially important to remember the fallen officers' families during the holidays.
“Most of us are going to be able to do that spend it with loved ones our family our friends,” he said. “For some, they aren't going to do that.”
Irvine died when his squad car crashed during a chase back in June.
Michalski was shot and killed in July.
