WAUWATOSA — Jay Z's Team ROC is organizing a rally to demand justice for Alvin Cole, the 17-year-old who was shot and killed by Wauwatosa police officer Joseph Mensah, at Hart Park on Thursday, Oct. 15.

The rally will begin at 2:30 p.m. at 7300 Chestnut Street, Wauwatosa.

During the rally, speakers plan to call for the termination of Officer Mensah and Wauwatosa Police Chief Barry Weber. They are also asking that the police department implement the mandatory use of body cameras.

In addition to the rally, Racine native and NBA All-Star Caron Butler said he will cover the costs to pay for Cole's headstone.

Protests have been ongoing since district attorney's decision not to charge Officer Mensah in the shooting death of 17-year-old Cole. Mensah has also shot and killed two other people while in the line of duty. All the shootings were deemed justified.

Team ROC is the social justice arm of Jay Z's ROC Nation.
