A Janesville man was arrested for his seventh OWI on Wednesday morning.
Mark A. Matteson, 53, was stopped near West Court Street and South Chatham Street for erratic driving. Janesville Police said Matteson displayed signs of recent drug use when he was pulled over.
Matteson continued to show impairment while the officer conducted standardized field sobriety testing, and he was consequently arrested for 7th offense OWI.
He was held at the Rock County Jail on charges of OWI 7th, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating while suspended.
